On the way to Genting Highlands

Basically Genting Highlands is an enormous mountain resort with a well-known casino in Malaysia. There are few options for the tourists to visit there such as cab, bus or cable car. I think it would be a great experience to try the cable car.

The view from the cable car

The cable car ride will take for around 15 minutes and it was quite foggy. Visitors could take the cable from Awana Sentral Cable Car Station and there is a self-service ticket machine, it is convenient and simple to operate. The cable car will take everyone to Sky Avenue directly.

Skytropolis Funland has just opened in last December 2018. This is one of the place attracts a lot of tourists to come over. This could be a good place for parents to bring their children.

The Sky Casino is just located at the ground floor. Besides gamble, there are still activities can do inside such as hunting for food and shopping as there are a lot of retail shops are provided inside. It would be quite crowded during peak season such as school holidays and some festive seasons.

Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, Sabah

There is a sign before you enter the centre (Source: Google Image)

One of the best spot and opportunity to see Orang Utan is at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre in Sabah, it is located approximately 25km from Sandakan Town. There would be an information session that shown in a video form to let visitors know more information such as Orang Utan adoption options, operation system and it takes for around 30 minutes. Every visitor is required to pay for entrance fee of RM5 for Malaysian and RM30 for foreigners.

The Sepilok Orang Utan Nursery

There is a new nursery that opened recently in the centre. Visitors can have a sit to see and enjoy those Orang Utan climb around the equipment, interact and play with each other and swing from ropes to ropes. Everyone can see their hilarious behaviours when they are playing around.

Obviously they are chilling under a sunny day.

Feeding Time

Then, visitors can proceed to the feeding platform and wait for the Orang Utan. Then, the branches rustle and the ropes start to move after the rangers prepared the food. It would be an awesome sight when they slowly approach the feeding platform and the way they eat. The feeding platform is large enough to fit around 40 visitors and it feels free to move around to get great photos from different angles. By the way, visitors are required to keep silence and do not approach Orang Utan for fear of attack.

The way to the feeding platform

Look how excited the Orang Utan was!

Overall, the price is affordable for everyone to visit this centre. It would be a great experience if you love nature and escape from the city.
